Uncharted, a video game saga brought to the big screen

13 games developed by Sony since 2007

Created by Sony in 2007, it currently has a total of 13 games for PC, PS5, PS4, iPhone, Android…

Drake’s Treasure was the first game in this saga, published in 2007 in Spain, in which Nathan Drake, a descendant of the well-known French privateer Francis Drake, stars.

The story of the Uncharted saga follows the adventures of Nathan Drake, a treasure hunter who searches for lost treasures and solves ancient mysteries. Drake is a charismatic and adventurous character who is accompanied by his faithful friend and partner Victor Sullivan and his love interests Elena Fisher and Chloe Frazer.

In the first title of the saga, Drake’s Treasure, Drake and Sullivan embark on a search for Sir Francis Drake’s treasure. The game is followed by Uncharted 2: Land of Thieves, in which Drake and Sullivan travel to Shambhala, a mythical city hidden in the Himalayas. In Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Drake must confront his past when he learns that his brother Sam is alive. Uncharted: The Golden Abyss is an independent game that tells the story of Nathan Drake and Sully as they search for a lost treasure in the Peruvian jungle. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the end of the saga and in it Drake retires from treasure hunting to start a new life with Elena.

Uncharted is made up of a graphic adventure in which you can enjoy action and adventure games in the third person, controlling the players through levels, which include puzzles, exploration and combat with the protagonist.

The game features fast and exciting combat, where players can use various weapons to defeat their enemies, including grenades, pistols and rifles.

Exploration in Uncharted games is an important component, with players having to find their way through challenging environments, between ancient ruins, jungles and modern cities. Uncharted requires players to use their ingenuity to solve the surprising problems that the game poses to them, through puzzles of different levels of complexity, which must often be combined with exploration skills, due to the given scenario.

Uncharted 2 was released in 2009, and is considered one of the best video games of all time. In 2011, Uncharted3 was released as well as Uncharted The Golden Abyss, an independent game in the saga, in downloadable format.

In 2015, the trilogy is launched for the Sony PS4 console, graphically improved, using a higher resolution and a higher frame rate per second, as well as new trophies and achievements.

In 2016, Uncharted Fortune will be the first version for mobile devices, with a cartoon style, instead of the realistic one offered by the console, offering us more than 200 different puzzles through different themes. This year, the new generation of video games also arrives with the title Thief’s End, which would ultimately be the last game in the saga.

In 2017, the first independent expansion of Uncharted arrives: A Thief’s End, which could be acquired independently.

Finally in 2022 Uncharted Collection offers an exciting narrative full of hilarious moments and clever thieves, including two single-player adventures in which you will travel the world.

In 2022 it was made into a film with Tom Holland as the protagonist.

Uncharted games are recognized for their impressive graphics, engaging stories with successful plots, and fast-paced action.

Uncharted 4 was downloaded by more than 37 million players in the four years following its launch in 2016.
